Governance

The IIT Kanpur-La Trobe University Research Academy is governed by a Steering Committee (SC) involving members from IIT Kanpur as well as La Trobe University and provides overall guidance and strategic oversight.

The Steering Committee is supported by the:

• Academy Doctoral Advisory Committee, primarily tasked towards overall management and operation of the Joint Doctoral Degree Program; and the,
• Industry Advisory Board, which acts as a thinktank in promoting industry engagement with the Research Academy, identifying possible partners to promote industry and society-relevant research through the Research Academy.

The Director, Co-Director and Academic Program Director of the Research Academy are appointed by the Steering Committee, who has overall responsibility of proper operation and growth of the Research Academy.
